About Football in Bracknell

Welcome to FootballinBracknell, a site dedicated to everything about and related to football in the English town of Bracknell, Berkshire.

Bracknell has a thriving local football scene, with FOUR senior men’s clubs, women’s teams and countless junior and Sunday football clubs competing across a variety of levels – but with one thing in common, serving the community.

Football in Bracknell is gloriously volunteer led and we want to document that on this website. We hope you enjoy your visit.

Who runs FootballinBracknell?

FootballinBracknell is Tom Canning and Darrell Freeland.

Better known as TC and Dudley, the pair spent nearly 10 years running and contributing to bracknelltownfc.com and have struck out on their own covering football in Bracknell and the surrounding areas.

Darrell Freeland & Tom Canning

Darrell is a hugely experienced former club secretary with a VAST knowledge of the local game and contact book to match. He knows the rule books inside out and has followed football in Bracknell for over 20 years. Follow him on twitter @DudleyHD.

Tom has been watching non-league football since the age of 12 and is experienced in digital and social media. Tom watches games at all levels while travelling with work and has played locally at a (very) low standard. He now manages Bracknell Town Ladies. Follow him on twitter @tomcanning83

Not for profit

FootballinBracknell strictly not for profit. Any advertising you see on the site goes toward paying for web servers, digital infrastructure and the odd cup of tea on a cold Tuesday night in Burnham.
