Today’s ‘Where are they now?’ focuses on Woodley United Ladies from a couple of seasons ago – we can’t be sure but the badge on the shirts is from before the merger of United, Woodley Hammers and Woodley Town.

The Kestrels finished a very creditable fifth in the Southern Region Women’s Football League Division 1 this season with an eight game winning streak that almost gave them a shot at the promotion earned by neighbours Ascot United.

Woodley’s Ladies side, from a look through the SRWFL archives became Woodley United at the start of the 2011/12 season – previously (we think) playing under the Woodley Saints banner – playing for five season in the Premier Division before taking what looks like a voluntary demotion to Division 1 last summer (they finished 7th of 9 sides in 2015/16).
