Liam Ferdinand gets Binfield FC back to winning way in Hellenic League Cup

It’s been awhile but Binfield FC are back to winning ways with an emphatic 7-3 win in the Bluefin Sports Hellenic League Challenge Cup on Saturday.

According to the Moles twitter feed, Ferdinand scored at least twice while Matt Jones, Sean Moore, Mo Davies and youngster Luke Hayden also scored.

Also in Challenge Cup action were Ascot United who – after last weekends last minute FA Vase winner, were on the end of an injury time 2-1 defeat themselves.

Paul Coyne equalised Highmoor-IBIS’s first half goal from the penalty spot on 90 minutes but James Pierce got the winner for the visitors in injury time.
