Binfield FC make it two in a row and book County Cup semi-final place

Binfield made it through to the semi-finals thanks to a scintillating first half performance that yielded four goals as the Moles beat Windsor 4-2 in the Berks & Bucks Senior Trophy quarter finals on Monday night.

Sean Moore, James Knight, Liam Ferdinand and George Lock all scored before the break at Hill Farm Lane as Binfield took a 4-0 lead in to half-time.

Windsor were always going to respond with former Bracknell Town manager Mick Woodham at the helm and the Royalists duly hit back through Andrew Ingram and Ricky Cannon on 80 and 90 minutes.

For Binfield, it sets up a semi-final with Newport Pagnell Town while the two remaining County Cup quarter final ties take place on Tuesday evening between Bracknell Town and Holmer Green, and Flackwell Heath and Highmoor-IBIS.
