It’s a return to Uhlsport Hellenic League Premier Division action today after an eleven day break for the opening round of the Emirates FA Cup and Bracknell Town travel north to face Oxford City Nomads.

Here’s three things we expect to see at Oxford City Stadium come 3pm on a full day of Uhlsport Hellenic Premier League fixtures.

More Robins options

Mark Tallentire revealed in this week’s Bracknell News that Seb Bowerman and Kensley Maloney are both available this weekend and they certainly boost the Robins attacking options.

In addition, Carl Davies will be available Tuesday evening after returning from holiday whilst George Short will also be eligible to play then having served a suspension.

Goal, goals, goals

The previous three encounters between these teams in Oxfordshire has yielded seventeen goals.

The hosts won 2-0 last term whilst in 2014-15 it was a 4-2 defeat for Bracknell despite Shane Cooper-Clark’s brace.

However, 2013-14 saw a Berkshire win as the visitors prevailed on a wet and windy Wednesday evening to win 5-4. Goals that night were scored by Ben Knight, Sam Barratt with a stunning hat-trick before Garry Sargeant struck a late winner.

A first league win?

Both sides will certainly be hoping so today.

Nomads started with a 1-1 draw away at Longlevens whilst the Robins opened with a 3-1 loss at 2014-15 champions Flackwell Heath.

It’s important to get up and running early doors and whilst going winless your first two or three games is not the end of the world, it’s a great psychological boost to get your league campaign up and running.

Tallentire’s side have a victory in the FA Cup though winning a thrilling encounter at Thatcham Town by the odd goal in five thanks to Khalid Senussi’s first half and goal followed by Kennie Chamberlain’s wonderful solo goal and a late Adam Cornell winner.

Here’s everything that is happening today in the Hellenic Premier League and beyond.
