Top billing in the Bracknell Town & District Sunday League Premier Division this weekend is the fixture between William Twigg Vets (2nd), who made progress to the 3rd round of the County Cup last weekend and reigning Champions Finchampstead Athletic (6th). Crowthorne Inn, currently top, will look to put two successive Cup defeats behind them and maintain their assault on the Championship with a home fixture against Bracknell Cavaliers (8th). The one remaining fixture in the Division sees Wokingham & Emmbrook TMW (9th) take on a resurgent FC Fernhill (7th).

A number of our teams will look to go one further on the Berks & Bucks Junior Cup 3rd Round with AFC Crowthorne, Binfield Royals and Warfield all in action. There’s two all Bracknell ties as Loveman United (Division 1) face Newbold College (Division 2) whilst Sandhurst FFC play Raglan, both of Division 1.

WAB will look to stretch further clear at the top of Division 1 but will find it tough against Berkshire All Stars. The only other fixture scheduled for the Division sees Winkfield host Hurricanes.

With Warfield in Cup action, Athletico Ascot (2nd) will look to close the gap at the top of Division 2 to 4 points with a win against Bracknell Saint Germain (10th). Woodley United (3rd) could also make ground on top spot but face a tricky away fixture at Bracknell Athletic.

In Division 3 Woodley Saints (2nd), one of only two unbeaten teams in the Bracknell Sunday League (Warfield United being the other in Division 2) will look to keep the pressure on WAB Reserves at the top with victory over bottom team, and pointless, Berkshire United. WAB Reserves have a tricky away fixture against Winnersh Rangers at Cantley Park. Following defeat to WAB Reserves last week, putting an end to their unbeaten start to life in the Bracknell League, Bracknell Corinthians face a tough test with an away fixture at Silver Birch.

The top two in Division 4 play for top spot this weekend as Crownwood Dukes (2nd and 3 points behind) host Silver Birch A (top). Birch have a better goal difference of 5. Third places Bracknell Royals will look to stay in contention at the top with an away trip to “new boys” Whitegrove Pythons.
