Bracknell Town confirmed on Monday morning that manager Mark Tallentire had left Larges Lane by mutual consent following two years of sustained success that included three trophies and a runners-up finish in the Uhlsport Hellenic Premier Division in 2016/17.

The Robins lost their first league game of the season on Saturday at Thatcham Town but remain very much in promotion contention, particularly with the likelihood that two sides will be elevated at the end of the season.

As well as trophies, Tallentire’s Bracknell Town brought in young local talents like Seb Bowerman and Joe Grant who have impressed consistently while the goals of Adam Cornell and TJ Bohane throught the 16/17 season brought delight to long suffering Robins fans.

Interest in the club rose with the opening of Larges Lane to a crowd of over 450 but it was arguably the fast attacking football and frequent victories that kept the supporters coming back week in week out.
