The 2014/15 season was the last time an East Berkshire side had any say in the Third Round of the FA Vase, and this year we have two sides plus Thatcham Town just across the imaginary split we have of the Royal County.

In 2014 it was Ascot United leading the charge, this time the same management team are leading Bracknell Town to Kent while Windsor hop across a real border to Surrey.

We’ve taken a look at the form of each of the six sides involved in the three games including actual official odds from a bookmaker (please gamble responsibly) and form from their last five games.

Odds are correct at the time of publication from Bet Victor. Looking for the full third round draw? It’s here.

There’s very little more we can say about Bracknell that you don’t already know right now. The Robins have recovered after a stutter following the managerial transition and are right in the Hellenic Premier promotion race having scored 33 goals in their last five games and conceding just three. The game may come to soon for centre back Justin Clayton who featured for the under 23s on Tuesday after injury.

That’s the size of the task facing Lordswood who have home advantage and sit fifth in the Southern Counties East Premier – albeit with at least a game in hand on the sides above them. Jack Mahon is the sides top scorer with 12 so far but ‘The Lords’ have are one of the lowest scoring sides in the top half of the table.

STATS:

League: Lordswood (Southern Counties East Premier – Step 5), Bracknell (Hellenic Premier – Step 5)

Last five games: Lordswood: LWWWL Bracknell: WWWWW

Odds: Lordswood (5/2), Draw (7/2), Bracknell Town (4/6)

Thatcham Town vs Sevenoaks Town

This could go either way with both sides fighting at the top of their respective step 5 divisions. Thatcham are in great form and have retaken second spot in the Hellenic Premier but will be eager to avoid a repeat of last seasons humbling at Bristol Manor Farm.

Like Bracknell it will be nearly two weeks since the Kingsfishers have played a competitive match and they will be without new signing Liam Ferdinand who is cup-tied.

Sevenoaks are top of the SCEFL Premier and have conceded just eight goals so far in the league – the only recent blot on their copy book was a League Cup defeat to Tunbridge Wells.

League: Thatcham (Hellenic Premier – Step 5), Sevenoaks (Southern Counties East Premier – Step 5)

Last five games: Thatcham: WWWWW Sevenoaks: WWWDL

Odds: Thatcham Town (6/5), Draw (4/1), Sevenoaks Town (6/5)

Walton & Hersham vs Windsor

Windsor celebrate their second goal
Windsor celebrate their second goal.

Windsor will need to significantly up their game after labouring to get past Hellenic Premier Division strugglers Burnham at the weekend.

The Royalists should at least have top scorer Nadir Shafi back in contention and the home side have been beaten in their last two games – though one of those was against Bostik League Premier Division Merstham and the other against promotion rivals Sutton Common Rovers, albeit a heavy 5-0 defeat.

STATS:

League: Walton & Hersham (Combined Counties Premier – Step 5), Windsor (Hellenic Premier – Step 5)

Last five games: Walton & Hersham: WWWLL Windsor: WWWLW

Odds: Walton & Hersham (1/2), Draw (7/2), Windsor (7/2)
