Mark Pugh caught up with Woodley United manager Michael Herbert following his sides 4-3 defeat in the East Berkshire derby to Wokingham & Emmbrook at Lowther Road.

Herbert said he felt his side had played well but individual errors cost United on the day.

The Woodley boss admitted he’d told his side to expect Wokingham to come at the in the opening exchanges and was disappointed with how the Kestrels dealt with set-pieces, but was pleased with the attitude of his players – and in truth United never gave up trying to get something out of the game.
