TJ Bohane is officially a Bracknell Town player again so we thought we’d find out how it’s all been going.

The striker made a summer switch to Evo Stik Southern League side Swindon Supermarine but was back on loan at Bracknell in October and has scored 7 goals in 8 games as well as making the move permanent.

How have you found it being back at Larges Lane? There have obviously been a few changes!

It’s like I never left to be honest, there’s obviously been change in managers but apart from that everything seems the same.

You’ve hit the ground running as well. Has it been easy to settle back in?

Yeah not 100% fit yet but the goals are still going in. Had to wait few games to get a start as there a lot more competition for places this year but seems me and Adam Cornell have carried on from last year these last couple weeks.

Certainly does! What do you make of your competition? Liam and Jon are both accomplished locally known attackers themselves.

Obviously Liam Ferdinand got 40 odd goals for Binfield in and around mid table which is a unbelievable season and Jon Bennett has been around just as long as me so experience and strength in depth in the squad is exactly what you need to do well in any league.

The big question.. What was behind your decision to head back to Bracknell? In our previous conversation you were looking forward to the step up and Supermarine are obviously a lot closer to you!

Yeah I guess Supermarine was convenient for me but I got injured and ended up coming back to Bracknell on loan for few games to get match fitness. Then I realised when back here how much I actually missed and enjoyed playing here and from then I knew I wanted to come back.

How did that process work? Who did you talk to and how did Swindon take it?

Not really sure how it works but I know it was dual registered and needed permission for the games to play for Bracknell and at end needed an official transfer to move. Not really spoken to many at Supermarine except Vice Chairman who wished me well.

Can you catch your old club Highworth?

They’ve been the pace setters this year bit like Thame last year and we managed to catch them. We’ve still got to play them twice and there a lot of games left so yes of course we can

Finally, Any message to the ultras? They’ve really missed you!

Hopefully we can win some more trophies this year and hear them singing on weekly basis starting this Saturday in the FA Vase.
