Reed made a diving save for Abingdon's third penalty

Woodley United goalkeeper Alex Reed saved a penalty and saw another blaze over the bar while Joe Barley clinched the winner as the Kestrels won a County Cup first round shoot out against Abingdon United on Monday night at Scours Lane.

Jake White had earlier given James Anderson’s side an equaliser in the final 10 minutes after Abingdon had broken the deadlock on the hour.

Woodley will take on Evo Stik Southern League Division 1 East side Beaconsfield Town in the Second Round on Monday night – again at Scours Lane. Dates for the Second Round fixtures and full draw is here.
