The Third Round Qualifying draw has been revealed for the 2020/21 Vitality Women’s FA Cup. Nine Berkshire based sides initially qualified for this year’s competition, with Wargrave Women being knocked out by Woodley in the Extra Preliminary Round.

Eversley & California Ladies, Slough Town Ladies and Newbury were all knocked out in the Preliminary Round. Whilst, Ascot, Woodley and Tilehurst were all knocked out in First Round Qualifying on Sunday 4th of October.

Teams who win at this stage will receive £600, whilst losing teams will collect £150.

Having knocked out SRWFL side Ascot United in the previous round with a convincing 3-0 win, Denham will have looked confident going into the game against Maidenhead. The game looked set for penalties as it remained 0-0 but a Nicole Barrett free-kick sailed into the box but hit the post. But Natalie Barnes was able to capitalise on the rebound to nod the ball into the back of the net and settle the score at the 95th minute, sending Maidenhead through to the next round with a 1-0 win.

Up next, for the Magpies, is Fulham Women on Sunday 1st of November. Former Maidenhead player Sophie Modak, left the club in the summer of this year to join Fulham while current Maidenhead player Simone O’Brien is a former Fulham Foundation employee.
