Bracknell Town Ladies Football Club will train at the newly refurbished Larges Lane for the first time on Wednesday evening.

The ladies club has been part of the furniture at Bracknell for nearly two decades and the clubs first team have played home matches on the pitch, while the development team play over at Syngenta in Jealotts Hill and train in Crowthorne at Wellington Health & Fitness Club.

That will all change before the season is out with the club hoping to move training sessions to the Lane in full time, while both teams will play home games at the ground.

Tough start

Both ladies teams have endured tough starts to the season with injuries being a key factor, but the development team won their first game of the season on Sunday – a 5-3 win over local rivals Sandhurst Town – having previously been beaten 4-1 at Bottom Meadow in the reverse fixture.

The clubs players will take part in a training session run by coaches from the club, from 8pm until 9pm on Wednesday evening, before being given a guided tour of the facility.

If you are interested in taking advantage of the new facilities and playing for Bracknell Town, the club are always looking for new players. Visit our ‘Play Ladies Football’ page here.
