There were some last minute nerves with the seats for the new stand only arriving on Friday morning instead of the scheduled delivery on Thursday, but Hellenic League officials have passed the ground fit for hosting step five football.

Bracknell Town chairman Kayne Steinborn-Busse tweeted: ‘We are pleased to announce we have passed and are coming home’.

The Robins will have a large number of home matches to catch up on having only played five of their allotted 17 home fixtures this season at Sandhurst Town’s Bottom Meadow.

A large crowd is expected for the Tuesday night fixture which regularly attracts 250 supporters without the prospect of visiting a brand new facility.
