Binfield manager Roger Herridge has stated in an interview with this weeks Bracknell News that young goalkeeper Liam Vaughan will every chance to prove himself at Hill Farm Lane over the summer.

Herridge’s comments come after the Moles confirmed Mo Nyamunga had moved on with Combined Counties Premier Division side Badshot Lea the likely destination.

The News’ Dave Wright has reported that youngster Vaughan who played 29 reserve team games as well as 5 first team games last season is likely to start at the Moles number one when they return to Hellenic Premier action, but Herridge added: “I have told Liam he will have a chance to prove himself in pre season when we will also be looking at another keeper.”

Vaughan showed his potential with an assured performance in the Berks & Bucks County Cup Final against neighbours Bracknell Town and made the headlines earlier in the season when he made a double penalty save for the Moles Reserves against Maidenhead at Hill Farm Lane.
