Bracknell Town joint manager Paul McGrotty has tweeted that the Robins management team has reportedly left the club. Bracknell exited the FA Vase at the Quarter Final stage on Saturday following a 3-0 defeat by Ebac Northern League side Marske United in front of 1,142 supporters.
McGrotty was appointed co-manager with Jeff Lamb at the end of September after Mark Tallentire left the club and the duo along with Derek Sweetman oversaw an impressive run to the last eight of the national Vase competition – the furthest the Berkshire club has ever gone in the competition.
McGrotty tweeted: ‘At 9.19am myself and Jeff lamb have just received an email to say we have been sacked by Bracknell Town FC ! Cheers !’

Bracknell are chasing one of two promotion spots from the Hellenic Premier Division and are still in the League Cup and Floodlit Cup.
They are due to travel to Longlevens in Gloucestershire on Wednesday in the latter competition.
Football in Bracknell has reached out to the club for comment. We will advise in due course if there is statement.
