Bracknell Town manager Geoff Warner has been named the Bostik League South Central Division One manager of the month for February.
The award, sponsored by Anderson Travel, was announced on the Bostik League website on Monday evening.
The post reads: “We’ve a new name on the trophy this month- well done to Geoff Warner of Bracknell Town! The Robins won every league match in February, scoring twelve goals and conceding only two, and seem odds-on for an end of season playoff place. Congratulations to Geoff and his team at Larges Lane.”
Warner was appointed manager of the Robins after player manager Carl Davies stood down. It is the second time a Bracknell boss has won the award this season, Davies won the award in August.
Bracknell are second in the division following promotion from the Hellenic League last season and may yet make a push for the league title. Warner’s side are second with 56 points from 27 games with two games in hand on leaders Hayes & Yeading United who have 73.
The teams placed second to fifth in the division will go in to an end of season promotion play off.
The Robins next fixture is at home to Uxbridge on Tuesday night. All the midweek fixtures are here.
