Binfield appoint experienced coaches to new management team

Fresh from appointing a new management team at Hill Farm Lane in the shape of Jamie McClurg and Carl Withers, Binfield have announced three new members of their coaching staff.

Experienced coach and former Bracknell Town manager Geoff Warner joins the young management duo along with the goalkeeper coaching team of Tony and Ross Perry.

The Moles announced the news in a statement on the club website on Wednesday morning with chairman Bob Bacon saying: “Even though we are in uncertain times, the management duo have set about building a backroom staff ready to hit the ground running, once it is safe to do so of course.

“Geoff will be no stranger to most, given his recent time at Bracknell Town and it is here that the relationship between Jamie, Carl and Geoff was forged. Geoff joins the club with a wealth of coaching experience, some of it spent professionally at Reading FC and Fulham, as well as managing at clubs like Beaconsfield SYCOB and Bracknell.”

Warner lead Bracknell to the final of the Isthmian League South Central Division One play offs at the end of the 2018/19 season where they were beaten 3-0 by Cheshunt at Larges Lane.
