Combined Counties League Premier Division North side Windsor will begin the 2022/23 season with a new manager after Mark Cooper resigned.

A statement released on the Windsor website said: “Yesterday afternoon manager Mark Cooper tendered his resignation as first team manager which the club has accepted. Cooper arrived at Stag Meadow in September 2019 following the depature of Mick Woodham.

“Windsor FC would like to wish Mark all the best in his future endeavours and thanks to him for his contribution over the last 3 seasons.”

Cooper lead Windsor to a credible seventh-placed finish this season having previously seen the Royalists finish 11th in the Hellenic League Premier in 2019/20 – the only other fully completed season of the manager’s time in charge.
