Bracknell Town and Binfield meet in the Uhlsport Hellenic Premier League on Tuesday night (ko 7.45pm) in the first game back at Larges Lane.

Here’s what to expect:

A good sized crowd

We’ve mentioned elsewhere that these two sides generally pull in 250+ plus for games between them.

300 attended the FA Cup Extra Preliminary Round tie between the sides at Larges Lane in 2012/13 and with the added ‘occasion’ of tonights game we could well see a over 400 watching on.

Familiar faces

It’s no secret that both clubs have swapped players over the years with full-back George Lock having played for both sides this season alone.

Bracknell’s former Binfield players include Callum Whitty, captain Carl Davies, Carl Withers, Seb Bowerman and Adam Cornell while manager Mark Tallentire has managed both teams.

Binfield’s former Bracknell players include captain Alex Luis, goalkeeper Garry Aulsberry, Jake White, James Suarez and Lewis Leonetti.

These guys all know each other..

No walk in the park for Bracknell

Form will go out the window tonight. This is essentially a cup tie for both sides with Bracknell Town looking serious title contenders while Binfield are back in form having beaten two of the Robins title challengers in their last three games.

New surroundings

This is going to be all new for both sides. Bracknell have of course trained on the new surface but as yet haven’t played a full throttle league game on it.

Around the pitch as well there is a tighter walkway for supporters to get to grips with and finding a good spot tonight will crucial!

Goals

There’s going to be goals tonight. I’ll bet my hat on that. Adam Cornell and TJ Bohane are in red hot form for Bracknell while Liam Ferdinand is a major goal threat for Binfield along with the impressive youngster Luke Hayden.

The difference could well be in defence with the central defensive partnership we expect for Bracknell to be between Carl Davies and Alex Rodrigues, and Lewis Leonetti and new signing Gary Smith for Binfield.

Whoever comes out on top, it’ll most likely come down to who has the strongest defensive unit.
