Bracknell Town are back in league action while the FiB team head for a first visit to AFC Aldermaston’s Recreational Society ground and Woodley United have a date with a County Cup quarter-final.

Please note, kick-offs are at 3pm unless otherwise stated. Please check with clubs before travel in case of postponement.

Uhlsport Hellenic Premier Division

Bracknell Town are back at Larges Lane after a midweek County Cup semi-final at Flackwell Heath with a tough looking tie against Tuffley Rovers.

Both sides avoided relegation last season – Rovers by off-the-field matters – and are having significantly better seasons this time around.

Robins boss Mark Tallentire played a strong side in the semi-final but will be without top-scorer Adam Cornell who is away.

Binfield can do their neighbours an enormous favour when they travel to title challengers Thame United.

The Moles lost 3-0 at home to Ardley United but manager Roger Herridge has had seven days to work with his squad including new signing Jon Bennett.

New Ascot United manager Neil Richards will have to wait another week before taking charge of his first competitive match, the Yellamen visit Chalfont Wasps in the Supplementary Cup on 21st January.

Thames Valley Counties Premier Division

Berks County will be desperate to get back to winning ways in the league after four straight defeats – the last being an 8-1 reverse at promotion chasing Newbury.

The Swords good start to life under manager Nathan Baker was short lived but the trip to Reading side Unity’s Cintra Park ground at least gives sixth placed County an opportunity to restore a little confidence.

Uhlsport Hellenic League Division 1 East

Our featured game will be a first visit to AFC Aldermaston for FiB as the Atomics host Finchampstead at the Rec Soc.

There was frustration for Keiran Jennings side last week with their game at Scours Lane against Woodley United (who were leading 2-1) abandoned due to floodlight failure.

The visit of improving Finch should produce a tight with both sides looking good for a top half finish.

Aldermaston could go third with a win but will need Sandhurst Town to take three points off Headington Amateur’s at Bottom Meadow.

Berks & Bucks County Intermediate Cup

Quarter-final time for Woodley United in the County Cup as they face North Bucks Premier Division side Great Horwood.

The match is a 2pm kick-off at Bulmershe Pavilion on Woodlands Avenue.

Suburban Football League

Binfield Reserves are at home in the Premier Division with the visit of Royston Town. The two sides met back in November with Royston winning 5-2 in Hertfordshire.

In the Central Division Ascot United Development head to third placed London Colney.

Ladies Football (all 2pm kick-offs on Sunday)

It’s derby time in the Southern Region Women’s Football League (well as near as you can get) Premier Division as Marlow visit Bracknell Town at Larges Lane on Sunday (2pm).

The Robins are currently rock bottom while Marlow are up in second behind leaders Oxford City.
