There’s no doubt that Bracknell Town vs Flackwell Heath is the stand out match this weekend as the second placed Robins host leaders Flackwell Heath but we also have derby encounters in both the Reading Invitation Challenge Cup and Uhlsport Hellenic League Division 1 East.

Uhlsport Hellenic League Premier Division

As alluded to above, it’s secnd against first in the Premier Division in a match which Flackwell are more in need of victory. Despite sitting top, the Robins are only one point behind and with three games in hand whilst Thame United are also poised to leap above the Heathens.

Mark Tallentire has boosted his squad with the signing of Hungerford Town left back Diak John and with the teams playing an ill-tempered semi-final not so long ago, we’d be surprised if this one finished with 22 players on the pitch.

Elsewhere, Binfield host Royal Wootton Bassett Town in what should also be a tight affair with only two places separating the sides.

Roger Herridge’s side came away from Wiltshire with all three points in August as Jamie Connor scored the only goal but the Moles will be buoyed by last Saturday’s fantastic BBFA County Senior Trophy semi-final victory at Newport Pagnell Town.

At a glance fixtures:

  • Binfield vs Royal Wootton Bassett Town
  • Bracknell Town vs Flackwell Heath

Uhlsport Hellenic League Division One East

It’s a cracking local derby tomorrow with Sandhurst Town hosting Finchampstead. This is a real tough one to call and we would not be surprised if it was a draw with both sides being a bit up-and-down form wise.

AFC Aldermaston travel to Chinnor with the Atomics knowing victory could see them jump from eighth to fourth place with a couple of results elsewhere going their way.

Form is mixed for Kieran Jennings side with four win and three defeats in their last seven league matches.

At a glance fixtures:

  • Chinnor vs AFC Aldermaston
  • Sandhurst Town vs Finchampstead

Bluefin Sports Hellenic Supplementary Cup

Neil Richards will take his Ascot United side to Division One East side Chalfont Wasps with the Yellamen starting favourites.

With a 5-1 thrashing against Brimscombe & Thrupp last weekend, it’s probably a welcome relief to play in the Supplementary Cup.

At a glance fixtures:

  • Chalfont Wasps vs Ascot United (kick-off 2.15pm)

Reading Invitation Challenge Cup

Wokingham & Emmbrook entertain Woodley United in the second round (last 16) of the cup more commonly known as the Reading Senior Cup.

The Sumas are multiple winners in recent years and whoever wins this will host Henley Town in the quarter finals.

United are the better side on paper at least but they lost at Lowther Road 4-3 in November in what was a thrilling affair.

At a glance fixtures:

  • Wokingham & Emmbrook vs Woodley United (kick-off 2pm)

Thames Valley Premier League

Only goal difference separates eighth place Berks County and their visitors Cookham Dean who sit one place higher in the league.

The sides met early in the season with Cookham winning by the odd goal in three and their recent results have been better than County.

No game for Berks County Reserves but the Swords ‘A’ team are in action at bottom side Harchester Hawks Reserves in Division 4.

At a glance fixtures:

  • Berks County vs Cookham Dean (kick-off 2pm)

Suburban Football League

Binfield Reserves and Knaphill renew acquaintances in the Premier Division with the Moles headed to the Surrey village.

The two sides played out a 1-1 draw at the start of the season and a win for Ellis Woods side could see them jump up to sixth place.

In the Central Division 1 it’s Ascot United ‘Dev’ at home to Eversley & California while Bracknell Town under 21s host Godalming Town on Tuesday night.

At a glance fixtures:

  • Knaphill vs Binfield Reserves
  • Ascot United ‘Dev’ vs Eversley & California

Sunday: Ladies Football

It’s ‘must win’ time for Bracknell Town Ladies who are looking to put their first points of the season on the board in the Southern Region Women’s Premier Division when Milton Keynes City visit Larges Lane.

The two sides have already played each other three times this season with Bracknell managing their only win to date back in September – a 2-0 win in the League Cup.

In Division 1 Ascot United have a superb opportunity to extend their lead at the top of the table when they host third place Oxford City Nomads at Ascot Racecourse while Woodley United are on the road to Winchester City Flyers Reserves.

In the Thames Valley Counties Women’s League Division 1 South Sandhurst Town head to Flackewll Heath Ladies and Bracknell Town ‘Dev’ make the trip to bottom of the table Thatcham Town Ladies.

All matches at 3pm unless otherwise stated. All women’s matches at 2pm unless otherwise stated.
