Six pre season fixtures for our local clubs this weekend

Festival of Football at Larges Lane continues and all the weekends friendlies

It’s the final two matchdays of the Festival of Football at Bracknell Town’s Larges Lane ground at the weekend with all four sides in action on both days.

Eversley & California currently lead proceedings after winning their first two fixtures and will go up against Binfield on Saturday while Bracknell Town and Wokingham & Emmbrook clash in the tournaments other fixture.

On Sunday, the teams will meet again depending on final position in the round robin table. Full details on entry prices and kick off times are here. We posted the results from day 1 here and day 2 here.

Here’s things as they stand:

Elsewhere there are friendly matches abound for our local clubs with Ascot United, Woodley United and Berks County all on the road.

It’s a bit of a trip to Basingstoke but it might be worth it for a clash been AFC Aldermaston and the Yellamen at Everest College while Hellenic Premier Division new boys Woodley United are off west to Almondsbury UWE.

Berks County head over to West Berkshire to face Brimpton while Sandhurst Town are at home to former Combined Counties League rivals Sandhurst Town.

  • AFC Aldermaston vs Ascot United (12:30 at Everest College, Basingstoke)
  • Almondsbury UWE vs Woodley United
  • Binfield vs Eversley & California (2pm Larges Lane, Bracknell)
  • Brimpton vs Berks County
  • Sandhurst Town vs Ash United
  • Wokingham & Emmbrook vs Bracknell Town (6pm Larges Lane, Bracknell)
