Weekend: Woodley United and Binfield in derby and FA Women’s Cup gets underway

Some great local fixtures this weekend across the Hellenic and Thames Valley Leagues with Bracknell Town at home again and a derby across at Scours Lane with Binfield headed to Woodley United.

Worth mention as well that the visitors to Bracknell – Abingdon United will be without Jayne Mascarenhas-Olivero for a rather brilliant reason, the left back is on international duty with Gibraltar and started the 9-0 defeat to Belgium on Thursday night.

The women’s football season also kicks off in earnest – we’ve written a brief preview here – with the FA Women’s Cup and Thames Valley Counties Women’s Football League getting underway.

Enjoy the weekend – all matches kick off at 3pm unless otherwise stated.
