East Berkshire sides compete in no less than eight different competitions this weekend with the Buildbase FA Vase and SSE Women’s FA Cup rolling on as well as some key Uhlsport Hellenic League fixtures.

We’ve had a look at the form guide of all our sides Vase opponents here but we’re going to boldly predict all three sides will join Bracknell Town in the First Round Proper Draw on Monday afteroon.

Thatcham Town vs Bracknell Town is a massive league game and easily biggest of the weekend.

A Robins loss tomorrow will see them five points behind Highworth after a quarter of the season played.

Even bigger game for Thatcham though, a loss for them to Bracknell and they will be nine points off Highworth albeit with a game in hand.

The pick of the rest of the ties for us is a tough away day in the Hellenic Premier for Highmoor Ibis at Brimcombe & Thrupp with Marcus Richardson’s side looking to pick up a first win since they beat Ascot United at the start of the month.

The other stand out tie – this time in Division 1 East is AFC Aldermaston at home to newly promoted Virginia Water.

This time last season it was the Atom Men who were unknown to us, but Virginia Water top the table after six games and Aldermaston haven’t quite clicked in to gear yet – it could be an opportunity this weekend though after the visitors lost their first league game of the season last time out.

As ever, the full weekend fixtures including all the women’s matches are below – all Saturday fixtures are at 3pm unless otherwise stated and all Sunday fixtures are 2pm unless otherwise stated and please check with the host club if you have any doubts about the fixture before you travel.
