We start this weekend’s preview with a reminder to all involved in games this Sunday to turn your clocks back an hour on Saturday evening!!

The weekends top fixture in the Premier Division sees unbeaten FC Meta (3rd) play Champions Finchampstead Athletic (5th) who have yet to ignite their season so far. Crowthorne Inn will look to continue their good form and consolidate their position at the top as they travel to winless Wokingham & Emmbrook TMW whilst William Twigg Vets (2nd) will look to keep the pressure on Crowthrorne as they travel to Bracknell Cavaliers. The other two fixtures in the division sees Morale Madrid entertain FC Fernhill whilst Golden Farmer Rangers (4th) play Intercity (6th).

Division 1 should see a jostling for the top positions this weekend. With Raglan (2nd) playing in the County Cup, WAB could stretch further clear at the top as they travel to Hurricanes. In-form Loveman United entertain Binfield Royals and will look to maintain their 100% start to their league campaign.

Probably the most intriguing fixture in this division pits Berkshire All Stars against Winkfield, smarting from two recent defeats to Loveman in both the County Cup and league. Finchampstead Athletic Reserves must at some time put an end to their poor start to the season but may find it tough against AFC Crowthrorne. Completing this weekend’s Division 1 fixtures Sandhurst FFC take on Ashridge Park.

The top two in Division 2 both have home games. Unbeaten Warfield United face a tough task against Bracknell Athletic who will look to get their season back on track after a recent run of poor results whilst Athletico Ascot entertain Berks County. The weekend’s top billing in the Division could be given to the fixture between Woodley United (3rd) and Newbold College (9th). Braybrooke Athletic and AFC Crowthorne Reserves will both look to progress in the County Junior Trophy.

In Division 3 Woodley Saints will look to maintain their unbeaten league record by beating Bearwood Wanders whilst third placed WAB Reserves could go top by beating Bracknell Falcons if Saints lose their fixture. Second placed Bracknell Corinthians will also look to maintain their unbeaten start as they travel to face Winnersh Rangers.

Top billing in Division 4 sees Bracknell Royals (1st) entertain Crownwood Dukes (2nd).

FiB predicts:

  • Plenty of goals in the Premier Division game between Morale Madrid and FC Fernhill Loveman United to make it 5 wins out of 5 in Division 1
  • WAB Reserves to move 2nd in Division 3
  • Berkshire United to pick up their first league points of the season in Division 3
  • Bracknell Royals to move further clear at the top of Division 4
  • At least on player to arrive at their ground an hour early for their game!
