Midweek: Binfield brave the M4 again, AFC Aldermaston at home

It’s slim pickings for grass roots football fans in the local area with three matches of interest after Monday nights Woodley United vs Windsor tie was postponed.

AFC Aldermaston are at home on Tuesday night and have an opportunity to move away from the bottom three of the Uhlsport Hellenic League Division 1 East table when they host second bottom Milton United at the Rec Soc.

It’s been a tough start to the season for Kieran Jennings men after their seventh placed finish last time out but picked up a morale boosting 1-0 win on Saturday at Chalfont Wasps.

On Wednesday night, Binfield brave the M4 again four days after an eventful visit and win at Tuffley Rovers in Gloucestershire when they face Royal Wootton Bassett Town.

The Moles moved up to seventh with that win and are five points ahead of Bassett in the table.

Finally, Stag Meadow in Windsor plays host to Virginia Water vs Nottsborough in the Surrey Premier Cup.

All matches are 7.45pm kick off unless otherwise stated. Please always check with the host club before you travel
