FiB wishes all teams a Happy New Year and success I 2018, whatever form that may take.

This first weekend back sees the conclusion of quarter final ties in both the Leagues Senior and Junior Cups. In the senior competition 3 ties are to be played that will see an all Premier Division tie between Bracknell Cavaliers and Golden Farmer Rangers whilst elsewhere there are two Premier Division v. Division 1 ties as FC Fernhill and Wokingham & Emmbrook take on Sandhurst FFC and Raglan respectively. In the Junior Cup there is only one outstanding tie to be played that will see Newbold College take on Bracknell Saint Germain, both of Division 2.

The one Premier Division tie this weekend sees Morale Madrid (7th) take on Finchampstead Athletic (3rd). A win for Finch will move them above William Twigg Vets into 2nd position.

The top fixture in Division 1 is the game between AFC Crowthorne (3rd) against Loveman United (2nd). Both teams will look to win and keep their challenge going with WAB for top spot who travel to Ashridge Park. Other fixtures in the division see Finchampstead Athletic Reserves, who’s season has yet to ignite, take on Winkfield whilst the other sees draw-specialists Berks All Stars (7th) take on Binfield Royals (5th).

With Woodley United not playing, unbeaten Warfield United will look to regain top spot in Division 2 but face a tough away fixture against Bracknell Athletic. Elsewhere Athletico Ascot (3rd) take on AFC Crowthorne Reserves (6th).

Pick of the fixtures in Divisions 3 & 4 include an in-form Bearwood Wanderers (4th in Div 3) against 2nd placed Woodley Saints, Bracknell Corinthians (3rd in Div 3) versus 5th placed Winnersh Rangers, whilst in Division 4 Silver Birch A will look to stretch their lead at the y=top of the division but face a tough challenge in FC Harmanswater.

Footnote: All fixtures are of course subject to fitness to play at grounds. FiB understand here may be a number of postponements already!!
