It’s third vs fourth on Tuesday night in the Uhlsport Hellenic League Division 1 East as title chasing Virginia Water host Sandhurst Town at Stag Meadow.

A Waters win moves them above Penn & Tylers Green into second and only two points off top spot with three games in hand while a Fizzers win would see them close the gap to their hosts to only one point.

Both sides are in good form with the home side winning their last six matches in all competitions and it’s four league wins in a row for Town who also have the division’s top scorer Charlie Oakley amongst their ranks.

There’s cup action tonight and tomorrow too and AFC Aldermaston host fellow Division 1 East side Chinnor this evening in the Bluefin Sports Hellenic Supplementary Cup Second Round with the victors going on to host Flackwell Heath in the next round.

The Atomics have not won in five matches while their opponents who actually sit lower in the league table have seen their form pick up recently – most notably a 2-0 win over Wokingham & Emmbrook at the weekend.

On Wednesday evening Binfield make the 165 mile round trip to Cheltenham as they face Bishops Cleeve Development in the Perpetua Press Hellenic Floodlit Cup Third Round knowing that victory will give them a Quarter Final place away at Virginia Water.

Roger Herridge’s Moles are in fantastc form with eight wins, one draw and only one defeat in their last ten matches and will start heavy favourites against a young home side who sit two divisions lower in Division Two West.

Bracknell Town Development have to travel to Dunstable Town on Thursday night in the Suburban Football League Central Division realistically needing a win to keep their title aspirations intact but it’s less  than ideal two days before the clubs biggest game in nearly fifteen years as the club gear up to their home Buildbase FA Vase Quarter Final on Saturday.

As ever, please check with the host club before you travel. Links on the home teams indicate we have an away day guide available to help plan your trip.
