Midweek: Hellenic League Premier title showdown and County Cup semi finals

Following on from a busy Monday night of Hellenic League action there’s plenty going on across Tuesday and Wednesday this week.

The match that will catch the eye if you fancy travelling will be FA Vase finalists Thatcham Town’s trip to title rivals Highworth Town on Wednesday.

It’ll be three games in five days for the Kingfishers and a win would naturally deal a hammer blow to the home sides prospects and open the door slightly wider for Bracknell Town – who beat Binfield 1-0 on Monday night, to nip in to one of the promotion spots.

Elsewhere managerless Chinnor are already headed to step 7 if rumours are to be believed, AFC Aldermaston will be keen to take advantage while Division 1 East promotion hopefuls Virginia Water host Thane Rangers.

Transfer deadline: Our weekly transfer round up is now daily as we head to the closing of the transfer window. Here’s the first bulletin

If you wanted to stay local there are two decent looking games on offer as Bracknell Town Dev host Farnham Town at Larges Lane in the Suburban League and reinstated Woodley United host Chesham United in the County Cup semi final.
