Weather permitting, Bracknell Town make their longest journey of the season tonight in the four hour round trip across the Severn Bridge then up the A48 to face Lydney Town.

Victory would move Carl Davies’ men into second place in the Uhlsport Hellenic League Premier Division but please note this match is very doubtful and subject to a 1pm inspection.

Weather update – Bracknell’s trip to Lydney Town is off and has been rearranged for Thursday 26th April 2018.

Ascot United meanwhile have a double header against Brackley Town Saints. Having drawn each other in the Bluefin Sports Hellenic Supplementary Cup, the league fixture between the sides has been switched from Brackley to the Racecourse Ground.

Should one side win inside ninety minutes they will have the double bonus of three league points and progressing into the next round.

If scores are level then both teams will be awarded one point for the draw whilst extra time and possibly penalties would be needed to settle the cup tie.

There’s also a tasty local derby as Windsor entertain Binfield who are looking to ensure they finish in sixth place whilst Woodley United are due to host Highworth Town but after seeing photos of Rivermoor last night its doubtful that match will go ahead.

  • Ascot United v Brackley Town Saints

Uhlsport Hellenic League Premier Division

  • Brackley Town Saints v Ascot United (to be played at Ascot United)
  • Lydney Town v Bracknell Town
  • Windsor v Binfield
