Eleven of our Division 1 and 2 teams embark upon this season’s Berks & Bucks Sunday Junior Cup competition this weekend. The initial round has thrown up two all-Bracknell ties as Silver Birch A take on 3M whilst Woodley United take on Moore Close Manor. Ashridge Park Royals, Winnersh Rangers, Winkfield, Bracknell Athletic, Finchampstead Athletic Reserves, Sandhurst FFC and Panthers Reserves all play teams from around the County. FiB wish all our teams every success in this seasons competition.

After last week’s break for Intermediate Cup ties, the Bracknell Town & District Sunday League Premier Division action resumes that sees some intriguing fixtures, none more so than those between newcomers Panthers and seasoned-campaigners Morale Madrid and newly promoted Raglan last season’s Division 1 Champions Raglan against WAB who led Division 1 for a sustained period. The other fixtures see reigning Champions FC Fernhill travel to FC Meta whilst Athletico Forest, looking to get their season started, host Finchampstead Athletic.

Crowthorne Inn will try again this week to play their County Intermediate Cup tie against Purley, postponed last week.

Undoubtedly, the pick of the three Division 1 fixtures sees Berks County take on Loveman United with both looking to protect a 100% winning start to the season. Elsewhere it’s “derby day” as AFC Crowthorne Reserves play Crowthorne FC. The other fixture is between promoted Athletico Ascot and Wokingham & Emmbrook TMW.

In Division 2 Woodley Saints, with 2 wins out of 2, take on Bracknell Corinthians, looking for their first league points, whilst Ashridge Park host Golden Farmer Rangers Reserves.

The pick of fixtures in Divisions 3 and 4 sees Bearwood Wanderers seeking to continue their winning-sequence in Division 3 (they play Winnersh Town, themselves unbeaten so far) whilst second-placed Bracknell Saint Germain take on Hope & Anchor. Top game in Division 4 sees AFC Crowthorne Old Boys, also looking to maintain a winning-start to the season, take on Crownwood Dukes.
