After not having a game for two weeks, Sandhurst Town welcome Surrey based Godalming Town to Bottom Meadow this weekend. The G’s were relegated from the Combined Counties Premier Division at the end of last season and were amongst the favourites to challenge for promotion this year.

They have not started as strongly as they would have liked however, and currently sit in 13th position in the league with seven points from eight games. The Fizzers will be hoping to continue their good league form that has seen them take ten points from their last four games.

Eversley & California have an away fixture at league newcomers Tooting Bec who were promoted to the Combined Counties Division One after winning the Surry Elite Intermediate League last season and subsequently securing a groundshare with Rayners Park Vale in the London Borough of Merton.

Tooting have settled into life at this level well and are comfortably in mid table with ten points from their first seven games. The Boars will be hoping for another performance like the one that saw them progress to the FA Vase First Round last Saturday.

Hellenic League Division One East leaders AFC Aldermaston host Chalvey Sports at the Aldermaston Recreational Society for the first ever meeting between the two sides. After being promoted to the division this season, Chalvey, nicknamed the Stabmonks, started brightly, but they are currently enduring a tough run of league form that has seen them take one point from their last four games.

The Atom Men will be hoping to bounce back after a defeat in midweek, and to extend their lead at the top of the table.

Wallingford Town and Holyport will meet at the Wallingford Sports Ground on Saturday. The two sides are level on four points in the league with Wallingford having played two games less. Both sides can boast an in-form forward in their ranks with Wally’s Charlie Silkstone having scored seven in five games and Port’s Fabian Driffill having notched up eight in eight.

This will be Wallingford’s first league game of the season after their victory against Bicester Town was removed when the Foxhunters resigned from the league.

Woodley United will look to pick up their first points of the season at Scours Lane this weekend. The visitors are Buckinghamshire based Penn & Tylers Green who sit fourth in the table with nine points from four games.

It will be a tough assignment, as Penn have finished in the top three in each of the last three seasons, even piping Woodley to the title on goal difference when the Kestrels were promoted in the 2016-17 season.

Wokingham & Emmbrook welcome Didcot Town Development to Larges Lane. After a slow start to the season, the Sumas have picked up four points in their last two games to start climbing up the table. The last time these two sides met, Wokingham ran out 4-2 winners on their way to a sixth-place league finish. A win for the Sumas at the weekend would see them draw level with Didcot in the table.

The full fixture list for the weekend is here and our preview of Sunday’s women’s football is here.

All Saturday matches kick-off at 3pm, all Sunday matches kick-off at 2pm and all midweek matches kick-off at 7.45pm unless detailed next to the above fixtures. Please always check with the host club before you travel if you are in any doubt.
