This weekend sees the start of the Berks & Bucks Sunday Junior Trophy as 13 of our teams embark upon first round ties. There’s two all-Bracknell ties as Bracknell Royals take on FC Harmanswater whilst Finchampstead Athletic A play Bracknell Athletic Reserves. We wish all teams every success in this season’s competition and a safe passage through to the next round.

In the Bracknell Town & District Sunday League Premier Division, FC Fernhill will look to make it three wins out of 3 but face a tough challenge from Athletico Forest, who themselves will look to kick-start their season following their move across from the Reading League. In the days other top fixture, last season’s Division 1 Champions Raglan, take on Finchampstead Athletic. Three teams will look to post their first points on the board and two of them, newcomers Panthers and FC Meta, go head to head. The other is Golden Farmer Rangers who travel to Morale Madrid. The other game sees Crowthorne Inn host WAB.

Top billing in Division 1 sees Berks County take on AFC Crowthorne Reserves and a win for either team will provide an early season advantage at the top of the league. Early pace-setters Loveman United, with 3 wins already from their 3 games played, travel to play Wokingham & Emmbrook TMW. Elsewhere Bracknell Athletic play Panthers Reserves (each with 1 win for 2 played) whilst both Winkfield and Woodley United will be looking to get their first points on the board (against Finchampstead Athletic Reserves and Crowthorne FC respectively).

With Woodley Saints in County Cup action, Golden Farmer Rangers Reserves, who seem to have found their feet in Division 2 having won their last 2 games (from 3 played), will take top spot if they were to beat Bracknell Corinthians. Silver Birch Dynamoes will look to move positively into the top 3 if they were to win at Ashridge Park.

As most teams play in the Country Cup this weekend there’s only two games in the lower divisions as Bracknell Cavaliers take on Hope & Anchor in Division 3 whilst in Division 4 Bracknell Titans play Bracknell Cavaliers Reserves.
