In this weekend’s two Berks & Bucks Sunday Intermediate Cup 3rd round ties Raglan travel to play Reading League side Emmer Green whilst Panthers host Cottage Inn as both bid for a place in the Quarter Final stage of the competition, to be played on Sunday 13th January.

Raglan, holders of the County Junior Cup, face a stiff challenge as Emmer Green currently head the Reading Sunday League Senior Division after winning all 3 of their league games played to date. (Little is known of Cottage Inn by this correspondent!) FiB wish both teams every success in their ties. (FC Fernhill play their 3rd round tie at home to Datchet Village next weekend).

In the League’s Junior Cup Silver Birch 1st and Bracknell Corinthians will play their much-delayed 1st round tie whilst two of the remaining 2nd round ties will be played out with Silver Birch Dynamoes of Division 2 taking on Hope & Anchor of Division 3 whilst the other is an all Division 2 tie between Ashridge Park and Woodley Saints.

In the Premier Division Finchampstead Athletic will go level on points at the top with Fernhill if they are able to beat FC Meta, struggling to find any real form this season. The other two games see Morale Madrid (5th) take on Golden Farmer Rangers (9th) whilst Crowthorne Inn (6th) take on WAB (7th).

Competition for top spot in Division 1 looks set to re-ignite this weekend. Top team AFC Crowthorne Reserves travel to Woodley United who seem to have found their feet in this division in recent weeks whilst 3rd placed Loveman United travel to Finchampstead Athletic Reserves. Loveman trail Crowthorne Stiffs by 1 point. Second placed Berks County don’t play. Elsewhere, 4th placed Wokingham & Emmbrook TMW could put themselves into the mix with a win at bottom placed Crowthorne FC whilst Athletico Ascot, currently 6th, could make a move themselves if they were to beat Winkfeld. The other game in the division sees Bracknell Athletic take on Panthers Reserves.

Sandhurst FFC, who look to stretch further clear at the top of Division 2, play 3M whilst Moore Close Manor in 3rd will look to stay close to the leaders and take on Winnersh Rangers. The other game sees Golden Farmer Rangers Reserves (4th) play Ashridge Park Royals (10th).

Pick of the three fixtures in Division 3 sees Braybrooke Athletic, who occupy 2nd position, take on Finchampstead Athletic A (10th).

Current leaders in Division 4, Crownwood Dukes, take on Bracknell Titans whilst 2nd placed FC Harmanswater travel to Bracknell Cavaliers Reserves (5th).
