Loveman United this weekend travel to Maidenhead to take on Cosmos who currently occupy 8th position (of 8 teams) in Division 2 of the Thames Valley Sunday League, their opponents in the quarter-final of the Berks & Bucks Sunday Junior Cup.

Loveman can call upon the advice of Bracknell Sunday League teams Winnersh Rangers and Bracknell Athletic who Cosmos have already beaten in the competition.

Loveman, however, have the better of the two teams’ form going into the tie, on paper at least, and have players amongst their ranks that have tasted victory at this stage of a County competition previously with Whitegrove. Football in Bracknell wish Loveman every success in their tie on Sunday.

Premier Division leaders FC Fernhill return to league action this weekend and take on 6th paced FC Meta at the Sports Centre. Second placed Finchampstead Athletic will look to keep the pressure on Fernhill and play bottom team Panthers.

Third placed Crowthorne Inn travel to play WAB whilst Raglan, in 4th, take on a struggling Golden Farmer Rangers. Just 3 points currently separates the top 4 though Fernhill have a number of games in hand.

With Division 1 leaders Loveman in cup action, both Finchampstead Athletic Reserves, in 2nd, and 3rd placed Wokingham & Emmbrook TMW will look to rest top spot away from United.

Finch host Winkfield whilst Wokingham travel to Woodley United. Both Berks County (away to Bracknell Athletic) and AFC Crowthorne Stiffs (home to Panthers Reserves) will look to put themselves back into title contention with wins.

The top two in Division 2 again go head-to-head. Following last weeks game, that finished 1-1 between Moore Close Manor and leaders Sandhurst FFC, a win for Manor will see them take top spot whilst a win for hosts Sandhurst will see them stretch their lead to 6 points. Third placed Golden Farmer Rangers Reserves travel to play Bracknell Corinthians.

The top two in Division 3 lock horns as Bracknell Cavaliers host Bearwood Wanderers. Elsewhere 3rd placed Braybrooke Wanderers play Winnersh Town (6th).

Following their wobble in recent weeks Division 4 leaders Crownwood Dukes will look to get their title race back on track but face a stern challenge from FC Harmanswater (2nd), level on points with Dukes.

Bracknell Titans, still looking for their first league point of the season, play 4th placed Bracknell Cavaliers Reserves.
