In the Combined Counties Division One Sandhurst Town will be hoping for a first league win in 2019 on Saturday, but to do so they will have to be at their best as they welcome table toppers Bedfont & Feltham to Bottom Meadow.

The Yellows are the third set of league leaders Sandhurst have faced in 2019, having lost to former leaders Frimley Green two weeks ago and having beaten Hellenic Division One East’s Burnham in the Berks & Bucks Trophy.

Bedfont are the division’s top scorers with 73 in 21 games, and they also boast three of the of the four top goal-scorers including Michael Capon who tops the charts with 36 goals in just 26 games.

While Bedfont play at Sandhurst, their tenants, British Airways, host Eversley & California. BA have been groundsharing at The Orchard since being promoted to the Combined Counties Division One at the start of the season, and they have settled in to life at this level well as they are currently sitting in 11th place in the table.

Eversley picked up their first point under new manger Matt Angel last week and will look to build on a strong first half performance form that game, that saw them 2-0 up against Cove at the break.

In the Hellenic Division One East Woodley United have the chance to affect the battle for promotion when they travel to third place Thame Rangers.

Despite sitting in 11th in the table the Kestrels have been playing well in the league in the last few months, with runaway leaders Burnham the only side to defeat Woodley in a league match since the end of September.

Thame Rangers, the development side for Thame United, will be a stern test of that record. They currently sit in 3rd place in the table but a win would take them into 2nd.

Wokingham & Emmbrook will be making a trip to Oxfordshire for their match with Milton United. The two sides sit level on points, share identical records of five wins, four draws and seven defeats from sixteen matches, and are only separated by goal difference.

The reverse fixture earlier this season was a close affair as well, with the Sumas recording a 3-2 victory. A win for either side could see them climb as high as 5th in the table.

Wallingford Town are another side who are on the road as they play Penn & Tylers Green. Wally have won three of their last four league games and a win on Saturday could see them climb to 2nd in the table. Penn have only played once in the league so far in 2019, recording a victory at financially troubled Abingdon Town and they currently sit in 10th in the table.

Away from league action Holyport defend their Supplementary Cup title as they make the trip to North West Wiltshire to take on Malmesbury Victoria. Malmesbury play in the Hellenic Division One West where they currently sit in 5th position. They are the division’s top scorers with 61 goals in 13 games and have the league’s top scorer in Shane Bumphrey who has 31 goals in 23 games.

The best attack from Division One West will be meeting the best defence from Division One East as Port have conceded fewer goals than any other in the division, just 15 in 14 games. The winning team will be away at Stokenchurch in the next round.
