The football season is almost at a close, there’s fewer and fewer games taking place as league competitions come to a conclusion and cup competitions have their finals. Here’s your (probably incomplete) guide to football taking place in the locality in the coming week.

Please do check with clubs if you travel.

Oh, and there’s the Bracknell Sunday League Cup Finals occurring over the next three Fridays starting tonight! Details here (scroll to the bottom of that article)

Saturday 11th May

Reading Women vs Chelsea Women (Wycombe Wanderers) (12.30pm KO)

The final game of the season for the Royals. A cup-semi final and another solid league finish for the Fara Williams inspired side. Saturday will be a chance to see Jade Moore one last time before she heads off to the World Cup with England this summer.

Delaford Colts vs Singha Sabha Slough (Iver Recreation Ground) (2pm KO)

The East Berkshire Football League still has a few games in its Premier League to play. League leaders Delaford face Singha Sabha on Saturday afternoon.

Sutton Common Rovers vs CB Hounslow United (Stag Meadow, Windsor) (3pm KO)

The Combined Counties League are unusually using a Hellenic League ground for one of their cup finals. Saying that, Windsor FC’s Stag Meadow is a lovely place to watch football. This one is the Cherry Red Records Premier Challenge Cup Final.

Monday 13th May

Hanworth Villa U18 vs Camberley Town U18s (Larges Lane) (7:45pm KO)

The Champions Cup Final for 2018/2019 season sees Allied Counties Youth Central Division winners Hanworth Villa face winners of the South Division Camberley Town.

Tuesday 14th May

Andover New Street vs Andover New Street Swifts (7:45pm KO)

A short(ish) trip down the M3 from Berkshire for an Andover and District Cup Final on Tuesday evening.

Wednesday 15th May

AFC Crowthorne vs Singha Sabha Slough (6pm KO)

It’s another East Berkshire Football League clash, this time at Crowthorne as they take on Singa Sabha Slough.

Thursday 16th May

Not much happening on Thursday at all. Perhaps catch up with Game of Thrones or Line of Duty or something?

Friday 17th May

AFC Aldermaston vs Wantage Town (Madejski Stadium, Reading) (7pm KO)

Wantage Town will be keen to add the Reading Cup Final to their Hellenic League Premier Division trophy they recently earned. Now they have been promoted to step four this will be the last time Wantage will be able to win this trophy for a while. The Atomics of Hellenic Division One East stand in Wantage Town’s way.

Sandurst FFC vs Woodley Saints (Larges Lane,Bracknell) (8pm KO)

It’s a Sunday League Cup Final down at the Lane in the catchily named BTDSFL Junior Cup Final. These Bracknell Sunday League Cup Finals are always great occasions, and it’s a lovely time to be outside, so why not treat yourself!?
