This weekend sees the League open its defence of the Berks & Bucks Sunday Junior Cup, won last season by Loveman United. The Bracknell Sunday League are assured of 15 teams in the hat for the 2nd round draw as 10 have been awarded 1st round byes and there are 5 all-Bracknell ties.

Bearwood Wanderers, who enter at 2nd round stage, will look to go one better this time around after winning last season’s Junior Trophy. Good luck to all our teams with their this Sunday!

There’s one remaining Intermediate Cup tie that sees Bracknell Rangers making the trip to Maidenhead to play former Bracknell Sunday side FC Meta. Bracknell Rangers have started strongly with 4 league points from two games to top the Premier Division with Fernhill.

Premier Division

With neither of the top two in the Premier Division in League action this weekend, Crowthorne Inn could take top spot with a win but face a tough challenge as they travel to play Raglan away who open their League campaign. Elsewhere both Loveman United and Morale Madrid look to put their first league points on the board in their meeting at the Crem as do Berks County and Panthers, who play at Cantley.

Division 1

Woodley Saints will look to secure an early foothold at the top of Division 1 with their third win of the season, and face Wokingham & Emmbrook TMW at home. The other fixture in the division sees Athletico Forest take on Crowthorne FC, both looking for their first points of the season.

Division 2

Following good starts to the season both Bearwood Wanderers and Winnersh Rangers, level on 4 points apiece at the top of Division 2, will each look to stretch at the early-season summit with games against Golden Farmer Rangers and Bracknell Cavaliers respectively.

Division 3

Top billing in Division 3 sees Silver Birch and AFC Dukes, each with 2 wins out of two, take on FC Harmanswater and Bracknell Saint Germain respectively.

Division 4

Division 4’s top games see Bracknell Cavaliers Reserves and FC Showcase, each with 2 wins out of two, take on Bracknell Athletic U21’s and Bracknell Titans respectively, each desperate to get their seasons started.

Score reporting

Finally, a gentle reminder from the League that, when reporting results through the SMS text messaging service that all teams report their scores the correct way round as this affects results that appear on FA Full-Time.

The score should be reported H-A in your text for league fixtures with the home teams score first and the away teams score second. For example, if you are the away team and you lose 3-1, the result should be reported as 3-1 (not 1-3).
