Good luck to FC Fernhill and Raglan who play 2nd round ties in the Berks & Bucks Sunday Intermediate Cup this weekend. Their opposition will be Langley Galaxy and FC Meta respectively. Panthers will have to wait until the following week to play their tie against FC Bentons who play in the FA Sunday Cup this weekend. Coincidentally, these same three teams were the only three Bracknell teams to make it through to the second round stage last season with FC Fernhill going on to reach the quarter final, losing to eventual winners Aylesbury Flooring.

The one remaining Bracknell Sunday League Senior Cup (sponsored by Advantage Printroom) 1st round tie sees Wokingham & Emmbrook take on Winkfield, both of Division 1.

With leaders Bracknell Rangers having no league fixture this weekend (they open up their account in the Aldershot Cup away to Ash United), Crowthorne Inn could re-take top spot in the Premier Division if they were to beat a struggling Loveman United. The other fixture in the division sees Morale Madrid entertain Berks County.

Competition for the Division 1 title looks as though it could be just as tightly contested as last season with 3 teams vying for top spot, albeit at this early stage. Top game this weekend sees current leaders Sandhurst FFC, looking to continue their 100% winning start to the season, take on Woodley Saints in 2nd position. Third placed Athletico Ascot could capitalize if either of the top two slip up with a win against Athletico Forest. Ascot have the much better goal difference of the top 3. Other fixtures in the division see Bracknell Athletic host Crowthorne FC (Athletic seeking their first league points of the season and Crowthorne looking to challenge the top 3) whilst Woodley United take on Finchampstead Athletic.

Pick of this weekends Division 2 fixtures see current leaders Bearwood Wanderers looking to stretch their lead but face a tough game away to Newbold (4th), whilst Winnersh Rangers will look to continue their unbeaten start to their season against Panthers Reserves who have yet to secure a point.

Two teams looking to make it 4 wins from their opening 4 games collide this weekend as Silver Birch host AFC Dukes in Division 3.

Likewise, Division 4’s current leaders Bracknell Cavaliers Reserves and 2nd placed FC Showcase will lookm to make it 4 wins from 4 as they take on Bracknell Titans and Silver Birch A respectively.

Its been a very wet week so let’s hope we can get as many of this weekend’s scheduled 25 games played as possible.
