Bracknell Town & District Sunday League Cup time again this weekend with seven second round ties in the Senior Cup (sponsored by Advantage Printroom) and three second round ties in the Junior Cup.
The Senior Cup throws up potential shocks as four Division 1 teams (Wokingham & Emmbrook, Athletico Ascot, Woodley Saints and Athletico Forest) battle it out against Premier Division teams (Morale Madrid, FC Fernhill, Bracknell Rangers and Panthers respectively).
Athletico Forest, semi-finalists last season, will look to go one better this season. There’s one all Premier Division tie that sees Raglan play Loveman United with two all Divison 1 ties that see Sandhurst FFC play Woodley United and Crowthorne FC host holders Finchampstead Athletic.
Pick of the Junior Cup ties sees Bracknell Cavaliers square up with Braybrooke Athletic, both of Division 2.
Premier Division
The one Premier Division fixture to be played this weekend sees Crowthorne Inn host Berks County. A win or draw for Inn will move them back to the top of the League whilst a win for County will move them into contention at the top.
Division Two
In Division 2 William Twigg will look to move to within a point of Bearwood Wanderers at the top with a win against Panthers Reserves, struggling at the foot of the table. Elsewhere Bracknell Corinthians (5th) play Winnersh Rangers (2nd) who will go top with a win.
Division Three
The pick of Division 3’s fixtures top team AFC Dukes, bidding to keep their 100% winning start to their season intact, play Hope & Anchor whilst 3rd placed Silver Birch will look to get their season back on track after a recent wobble, travel to play Ashridge Park.
Division Four
In Division 4 the bottom two battle it out again as Bracknell Titans bid t win their first points of the season against Bracknell Athletic Athletic U21’s. Elsewhere Bracknell Royals would make progress up the table with a win against Bracknell Spartans U21’s.
