This weekend eight Bracknell Sunday League teams bid to reach the 4th round of the Berks & Bucks Sunday Junior Cup. The draw guarantees progress for two of those teams in all-Bracknell ties that see Ashridge Park Royals take on William Twigg whilst Sandhurst FFC entertain Newbold. Good luck to these and our other teams that venture into the unknown – AFC Dukes (they play Arborfield, always tough to beat!), Braybrooke Athletic, Crowthorne FC and Woodley Saints.

With FC Fernhill in Aldershot Cup action this weekend (away to Hawley in a delayed 1st round tie), Premier Division leaders Crowthorne Inn could stretch further clear at the top but face a tough challenge from a resurgent Panthers side. Elsewhere, 2nd placed Bracknell Rangers travel to Raglan (6th) who have yet to get their season going and the fixture between Berks County (4th) and Morale Madrid (8th) completes this weekend’s Premier Division programme.

With none of the top 4 in Division 1 with league fixtures this weekend Wokingham & Emmbrook TMW will go 3rd with a win against a Bracknell Athletic side still looking for their first league points of the season. Woodley United (6th) will also look to make progress and pick up from where they left off last weekend ending Sandhurst’s long unbeaten run, with a home fixture against Winkfield. The other game in the division sees Finchampstead Athletic (7th) play Athletico Forest (9th).

Top fixture in Division 2 sees current leaders Bearwood Wanderers looking to maintain their unbeaten start and stretch their lead at the top with a tricky looking fixture at home to Bracknell Corinthians. Third placed Winnersh Rangers too could go top if Bearwood slip up, with a win against Golden Farmer Rangers.

With leaders AFC Dukes in County Cup action 2nd placed Winnersh Town have the chance of closing to within 3 points at the to the top of Division 3 but will have to overcome Ashridge Park to do so. Hope & Anchor (4th) versus Bracknell Spartans (3rd) is the other stand-out fixture in the division this weekend.

Highlights of this weekend’s fixtures in Division 4 include current leaders Bracknell Cavaliers Reserves away at Bracknell Spartans U21’s (6th) whilst 2nd placed Harts of Bracknell take ob Silver Birch A (3rd).
