Binfield and Bracknell Town’s Uhlsport Hellenic Premier League rivals Flackwell Heath will be looking for a new manager after championship winning boss Graham Malcolm announced he will step down in the summer.

The Heathens you may remember turned down promotion to the Southern League (step 4) in the summer after being placed in the South & West Division, a division the club did not think they could cope with financially.

It was a big disappointment for the club who Malcolm had led to the Premier Division Championship, and had already begun preparing for life at step 4.

Flackwell Heath chairman Terry Glynn wrote on the club website that he, the committee, players and supporters will greatly miss Graham’s input, and wished him all the very best for his new ventures.

Glynn said: “We now begin the search to replace him – some very big boots to fill!”
