Last night turned out to be as bigger night off the pitch as on it as Wokingham & Emmbrook, Binfield and Bracknell Town all took to the field in cup competitions having completed the regular league season on Saturday.

Here’s our brief guide to what’s next for all the clubs we’ve covered in our short life so far:

Ascot United

The Yellamen have one game left this season, the Perpetua Press Floodlit Cup final on Thursday night at Kidlington Football Club against Gloucestershire side Brimscombe & Thrupp.

Berks County

County have a fair old wait for their final game of the season, away to AFC Aldermaston on 7th May.

Binfield

Update: The Reading Senior Cup semi-final has been moved to Saturday 30th April and will be played at Scours Lane NOT Palmer Park as previously reported.

Bracknell Town

Following the Supplementary Cup defeat, Bracknell have a quick turnaround as they travel to Henley Town for a Reading Senior Cup quarter-final on Saturday. The winners will face Westwood United in the semi’s.

Finchampstead

Finch have a final league game this season at Chalfont Wasps tonight in Division 1 East before hitting the beach.

Wokingham & Emmbrook

The biggest news coming out of Wokingham following their 2-1 defeat to Binfield – ending their four year reign as Reading Senior Cup holders – is that reserve team boss Clive McNelly will step into the role of first team manager after Dan Bateman and Matt Eggleston stepped down last night.
