Binfield will face Henley Town in the Reading Senior Cup final at Reading Football Club’s Madejski Stadium this week after defeating Highmoor-IBIS 2-0 at Scours Lane on Saturday afternoon.

It will be a second successive visit for Roger Herridge’s Binfield side who are aiming to go one step further than last season and lift the trophy seen here with Wokingham & Emmbrook captain Grant Lewin in 2014.

The teams

Binfield have beaten reigning champions Wokingham and Highmoor-IBIS on the way to the final this year and have bounced back from a tough end of Hellenic Premier League season that saw them playing three times a week.

Henley Town finished third in Division 1 East and defeated Thames Valley Senior League Westwood United in the semi-final on Thursday night. The Red Kites have reportedly been promoted to the Premier Division for 2016/17.

The location and date

The game will take place at Reading’s superb Madejski Stadium ground off junction 11 off the M4 on the A33.

The match is on Thursday 19th May 2016.

Kick-off and arrival times

The final will kick-off at 7pm on Thursday. We’ll publish ticketing information as soon as we have it. Supporters can access the ground from 6pm.

How to get there

We’ve been informed that parking is available on site for anyone wishing to drive to the game.

There is also Mereoak Park and ride by Junction 11 of the M4 if you don’t fancy battling Reading traffic or you can get a number 50 or 53 Greenwave bus from Reading Station.

Tickets

Binfield have informed us that tickets will be priced at £6 adults and £3 kids and concessions.
