With the Berks and Bucks FA releasing the draws today for all of their cup competitions, we can announce some tasty ties in the 2016/17 Berks & Bucks County Intermediate Cups.

This competition is the third for Berks and Bucks FA with the County Senior Cup being for professional and non-league sides down to step four.

The County Senior Trophy (draw here for Bracknell/Binfield etc) is purely for teams at step five and features Ascot United, Binfield and Bracknell Town.

The County Intermediate Cup is for sides at step six and below as well as reserve teams for clubs featuring in one of the first two competitions.

That can promote some mouth-watering ties with sides being drawn against others they would not usually face and that’s exactly what we have here.

Finchampstead first team have been drawn at home against Ascot United Development.

Binfield Reserves will entertain Clive McNelly’s Wokingham & Emmbrook first team.

Thames Valley League Premier Division side Berks County – who’s season begins on Saturday – will host Bracknell Town U21.

There is also an all Thames Valley League Premier Division affair with Highmoor Ibis Reserves hosting Mortimer first team.

These matches will be played on Saturday 10th September with teams having to win through six rounds to reach the final.
