First we had the news that Thatcham Town joint-manager Gareth Thomas had stepped down and now three more managers have left Uhlsport Hellenic League Premier Division clubs in five days.
In fairness to Thomas, he stepped down from managing but is fully committed to the club where he remains a player for them.
Paul Braithwaite was first to resign last Thursday when he quit Royal Wootton Bassett Town with immediate effect along with his assistant manager Chris Green and first team coach Martyn Robinson.
Twenty four hours later and Carterton manager Ben Sadler stepped down with Carterton cancelling the following days match against Tuffley Rovers citing being unsure whether they still had a team to pick.
Dave Tuttle was the third to leave his club with Burnham announcing today they had parted ways with former Bracknell Town and Henley Town manager Tuttle, although it’s our understanding that he quit rather than being fired.
Football Development Manager Luther Blissett will take temporary charge along with Paul Toms whilst the club seek a replacement. Burnham of course are rock bottom and yet to register a single point.
There are plenty of statements flying around from both the clubs and the managers but as we are fully aware, they are two sides to every story so are not 100% sure of the exact situation in each case.
