Saturday afternoon saw a first win for Wokingham & Emmbrook in their Hellenic League Division 1 East seasons thanks to a superb opener from Craig Haylett that saw him get around the Chinnor goalkeeper and score from a tight angle.

Wokingham won the game 3-1 thanks to a Haylett double and another from assistant manager Darren Thorne – and supporter Alex Woodrow caught the first goal on video which you can see above.

There was also video from Finchampstead’s defeat at Chalfont Wasps, but this time it was the heartbreaking injury time penalty miss that denied them a share of the spoils.

Chace Jewell gave Finch the lead but Wasps came back twice with goals from Daniel Finch and Kieran Webb before Jewell missed the injury time spot kick that would have levelled things up.

See the latest Hellenic League Division 1 East table here, and the round up of results from Saturday is here.
