Woodley United vs Finchampstead the stand out tie in Berks & Bucks County Cup

The draw has been carried out for the Berks & Bucks FA County Intermediate Cup Third Round and for us the stand out tie is the all East Berks local derby between Woodley United and Finchampstead.

Both sides record good victories in the last round with Finchampstead recording their second 4-0 victory in the competition as they beat FC Titans after beating Ascot United Development by the same score in the first round.

Woodley had a bye in round one but were too strong on Saturday for Flackwell Heath Reserves running out 4-1 victors.

Our only other East Berks representative Sandhurst Town have been drawn away to Chalvey Sports. They too had a bye in the first round but beat Thames Valley Football League Mortimer 4-0 this past weekend.

AFC Aldermaston, Binfield Reserves and Bracknell Town U21’s all exited the competition in the second round on Saturday whilst Ascot United Development, Berks County and Wokingham & Emmbrook were all knocked out in the first round.
