The weather caused problems for the first time this season in the Bracknell Town & District Sunday League on 16th October and it was a big mix of Berks & Bucks County Cup, and league ties.

We’ve pulled out the highlights for your reading pleasure – if you have any pictures or video from the weekend please visit our contribute page or ‘@’ us on twitter @fibracknell.

Big scores

TEN is this weeks magic number!

There were two games involving Bracknell Sunday League sides at the weekend that saw 10 goals fly in. One in the Premier Division and the other involving a Premier Division side in Berks & Bucks Junior Cup.

In the Premier Division it was a tough morning for last season’s League Cup finalists Binfield Club Athletic who were beaten 7-3 at home by FC Meta.

And fellow Premier Division side Super Reeves were beaten 6-4 at High Wycombe based Arthurs.

Clean sheets

A rarity in Sunday League so we celebrate the five from the weekend..

Division 1 leaders Crowthorne Inn increased their lead at the top of the table with a clean sheet and a 6-0 win over bottom side 3M FC.

Ashridge Park under 21s secured a 4-0 win at bottom side Crown Wood Dukes to keep up with the leaders in Division 3.

Top of the league

Talking of Division 3, leaders Bracknell Falcons stayed well clear with a 3-1 win at home to Bracknell Royals – they’re four points clear but have played a game more than the chasing pack.

In the Premier Division Bracknell Cavaliers stay top despite losing a second cup match in a row, this time to BT Coatings while Golden Farmer Rangers chance to take top spot went the way of the weather.

And finally..

Division 2 pacesetters Berkshire All Stars winning start to the season came to an end after three games with a 5-3 defeat at Bracknell Saint-Germain.
